Amy Joy Bernard obtained her LLB from the University of Pretoria as well as her LLM Master’s in Corporate Law. She qualified as an Attorney with High Court Appearance and Notary Public after doing Law School and Articles in Pretoria for the LVR Attorneys. She then went on to practice in various branches of the Law but eventually settling into Family Law.

Amy does not believe in the traditional practice of Law, she feels that in the new era of Law in South Africa, Attorneys should encourage clients to participate in their legal processes by educating and informing them of the Law.

Amy founded her practice with the single-minded goal of providing services that are completely upfront and honest regarding costs, risks and what the various routes could be to solve the client’s particular problem.
